Know what I hate? Copycats: People who don't have their own taste in anything, whether it's clothes, music, or anything else.
One minute said copycat states their opinion on something, and then as soon as you disagree they turn around and swear they've always loved or hated whatever you're talking about. Or if they see you wearing something cute, they'll go out and buy the exact same thing, or something creepily similar, that you can be sure they would never have bought if they hadn't seen you with it first.
Don't let 'em get away with it. Don't let people with no individuality steal your opinions.
STAND OUT
We are strong believers that everyone should have their own personal style. Like Coco Chanel once said, "The only way to be irresistible, is to be different." It’s great to get inspiration from other people’s ideas, but to completely duplicate their style pr personality.
We opt that you all develop your own personal style and personality, adding in inspiration from anyone like a major fashion label, a friend, or even someone you see on the street! But make sure to add your own twists to things also!
Get inspired, don’t copy. ♥

You know what i hate? People who are so cocky, they actually think that other people are so interested in what they do and wear and would want to copy them. These kind of people need to get over themselves, because they are not as great as they think.
ReplyDeleteThat wasn't very nice...
ReplyDeleteYour origional post was not very nice. Why would you assume someone is trying to imitate another person?
ReplyDeleteOh, I don't know, maybe because people actually do imitate other people?? Yeah, sometimes it can be flattering, but other times it can also be REALLY annoying. And it's called ranting, or did you assume everyone's thoughts are always nice and sweet and happy? It wasn't directed at you, and I don't see why you're even getting all worked up about it, so chill the eff out.
ReplyDeleteOh from your language, i must have hit a sore spot. This is going no where. So take your own advice.
ReplyDeleteMegan here! And I would like to say that this post was absolutely NOT aimed at anyone in particular, not at school, not on the web. Whoever you are... No more bitchy commments... And let's keep this blog and it's comments about fashion and style and pleasant things. :) our objective for this post was not to
ReplyDeletebe personal and mean, but to encourage people to have their own personal taste in clothing. :) <3
so chill out
ReplyDeleteand so once again... take your own advice.
ReplyDeletehave a nice day.
Okay other little Mrs/Mr 'anonymous',
ReplyDeleteEven if this was a rant, a blog is place for someone to talk about what they want to talk about. If you don't like what they are talking about, then don't read it. Go make your own blog and you can tlak about whatever the fuck you want. This is their place for THEIR opinoins and thoughts, not yours. I, personally, would like to agree with their idea. Good job explaining it. You said it with out being mean, but being strait forward about it. Keep up the awesome blog!
Have a GREAT day. :D
Love,
J.
